I'm a senior software engineer who loves turning messy, ambiguous problems into clean, friendly software.

At Breezy HR I work across a full-stack JavaScript and Node.js platform. Lately I've been building LLM-powered features, including an AI candidate-sourcing tool that surfaces the best-fit applicants from a company's existing database. I also own production releases and incident response, and chase fun wins like trimming our image-infrastructure bill by roughly 97%. I care about the details people never notice and the ones they feel every day.

When I'm not in the editor, you'll find me on the pickleball court, hunting down a really good cup of coffee, or hanging out with my corgi, Dexter. ☕

    Senior Software Engineer

    • Architected and shipped an AI-powered candidate sourcing feature that surfaces best-fit candidates from a company's existing applicant database, with credit-aware execution and matches streamed to recruiters in real time.
    • AI-evaluated tens of thousands of candidate profiles, surfacing 1,000+ strong matches across dozens of companies.
    • Hardened the reliability of AI applicant scoring, eliminating a class of silent failures so a bad result is always visible and retryable instead of shown as a real score.
    • Diagnosed and fixed cross-service failures in async job pipelines, eliminating recurring errors in the sourcing and scoring workflows.
    • Own weekly production releases: branch management, config propagation, deployments, smoke testing, and incident escalation with hotfixes.
    • Migrated the image delivery / optimization stack (DNS cutover, URL rewrites, app changes), cutting monthly image-infrastructure spend by ~97%.
    • Implemented AvaTax-based tax collection across state tax codes, integrated with Stripe for accurate checkout and invoicing.
    • Audited and corrected GDPR / CCPA consent workflows across candidate import paths, ensuring compliance with data-privacy regulations across US and EU regions.
    • Mentor junior & mid-level engineers through PR reviews and design discussions, and act as interim engineering lead during manager absences.

    • Built and shipped full-stack ATS features, partnering with Product and Support on customer-facing improvements.
    • Localized the platform to 17 languages, enabling international adoption.
